A group of five senior professionals today announced the formation of a new venture - Net ProActive Services, a start-up organization set up with an objective of providing leading edge technology based Networking Services to global corporates.

Net ProActive Services will be the first company of its kind with a singular focus on services for the networking industry. The company will be managed by its promoters who have a collective experience of more than sixty years in the Technology and Services business with substantial experience in the specific area of Networking.

Currently in the process of forging strategic alliances with world leaders in networking, enterprise management and security, Net ProActive Services is slated to become one of the key companies providing end-to-end solutions in network design, management and related services.

The management team will be headed by V Natarajan, ex-Director, SAARC Region, Lucent Technologies, who as CEO, Net ProActive Services, will be responsible for the strategic drive of the business. As the company will be focussed on the international markets and will derive its business primarily from exports, his experience with global corporations will spearhead the growth of the company.

T G Ramesh, ex-Country Manager, SAARC Region, Nortel Networks, will oversee the sales and marketing function as Director, Sales and Marketing, Net ProActive Services. His experience of over 10 years in the networking industry will provide leadership in driving sales revenue.

Shriram Ramdas, formerly Business Development Manager, FedEx International, will be Director Operations at Net ProActive Services. Having spent the last nine years at FedEx, he has significant exposure in Operations and Service management. He is also a certified SAP consultant.

Joy Nandi, ex-Business Manager, Internet/Telecom Division, SAARC Region, Nortel Networks, will be responsible for technical leadership as Director - Technical, Net ProActive Services. Well versed in various computer languages, platforms, network technologies and protocols, he has significant experience in the field of Networking. Having worked in the US and subsequently in the AsiaPac Region with corporates and service providers alike, he brings with him tremendous expertise in solutions design and network consultancy.

Umesh Malhotra, ex-Business Manager, Infosys Technologies Ltd, will be Director, Development at Net ProActive Services. He has spent a large part of his nine years at Infosys managing projects and providing consultancy in leading edge technologies. An achiever throughout his nine year career at Infosys, he was a member of the Chairman's list of outstanding performers four years in a row.

Unveiling the "peepul leaf" logo of the company, V Natarajan, CEO, said, "Nature embodies the most complex networks and is always an inspiration even in today's technology driven world.
