Objectives

First point of support contact thro' CSM & NOC Operator for resolution of failures in 24/7 Network Operations Center & ensure customer satisfaction at all times

Responsibilities

• Monitor specific customers' remote network systems & infrastructure, utilizing on-line tools and monitoring systems
• Resolution of Level 1 calls (severity 3 or 4) as per Net ProActive Services standard
• Opening and closing Tickets related to customers requests as per severity levels & SLA norms committed
• Escalation to Tier-2 Specialists if issue / problem unresolved within SLA norms
• Install and configure simple / small networks / systems

Education / Experience:

• Graduate in Engineering. Preferably Electronics Engineering or Computer Science Engineering
• Hands on experience in implementing networks
• 0-18 months experience providing development and delivery of complex networking (Fresher from campus will be those campuses identified for HR sourcing team & recruited)

Skills:

• Understand Operating Systems - NT, Solaris
• Knowledge on TCP/IP, ability to configure, install, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot most critical networking systems
• Knowledge of Web Server setup and trouble shooting, strong knowledge of heterogeneous networking components
• Experience with INTERNET protocols, ftp, http, basic UNIX, Ping, trace route, telnet, ssh, and www browser
• Understands escalation procedures

Desirable certifications:

• CISCO-CCNA
• MS - MCSE. Solaris - Level 1 Admin
