Life In The Manner of Business
The peepal leaf with its intricate
network of veins is allegorical of the manner in which business is conducted.
The complex vein structure very simply sustains and nourishes the leaf through
an uninterrupted flow, that is also the lifeline of any organization. Each node
performs a unique function and the interaction between these different points
within the organization is what keeps the business alive. The cardiac form of
the leaf, sharply tapering at the top, is akin to the 'shape of life', and
represents the hub of order and activity.
The peepal tree - latin name 'ficus
religious' - or 'the tree of enlightenment' was one of the first depicted
trees by civilisation in Asia and has inherent, natural healing properties.
