Remote scanning consists of a periodic
network level scanning of the customer’s IT infrastructure to
identify new vulnerabilities that can become potential attack
targets. The client’s networks and systems, comprising network
devices, operating systems, applications and databases are
scanned from IMaRC.
The scan is conducted using free and open
source vulnerability scanning tools and custom scripts developed
by Net ProActive Services. Net ProActive Services also has skills to perform
vulnerability scanning using cutomer-procured commercial VA
tools. The Net ProActive Services Advisory Service ensures that the
custom tools are updated on a regular basis.
